Place & Partnership Reviews

Understanding how places, networks and collaborations really work…and how they could work better.

The problem

Places are complicated.

Councils, charities, businesses, cultural organisations, funders and communities often share the same ambition—but experience it very differently.

Strong partnerships don't happen by accident. Neither do thriving places.

Sometimes it helps to ask an independent person to make sense of how everything fits together.

What I do

I explore how a place or partnership functions from multiple perspectives.

That means speaking with partners, understanding governance, reviewing evidence and spending time experiencing the place itself.

I'm interested not only in structures and strategies but in relationships, trust, communication and lived experience.

The result is a clear assessment of where energy exists, where friction exists and where future opportunities lie.

Example questions

Are partners genuinely aligned?

Who isn't in the room?

What does the community experience?

Where does communication break down?

What is this place known for?

Where is momentum strongest?
