about me
I ask a lot of questions. I was always the girl in class with my hand up.
This theme continues; for most of my career, I’ve continued asking questions out of a desire to create positive impacts for people, places, and organisations serving both.
Why is this working? Why isn't that?
Where are the blindspots? What could be better?
What can users or clients or staff see that the leadership team can’t?
I've spent two decades working across local government, regeneration, housing, culture and the voluntary sector, leading organisations, developing partnerships and shaping strategy.
Again and again I discovered that the most valuable work wasn't delivering programmes.
It was helping people understand what was really happening and giving them the confidence to decide what should happen next.
Today I work independently with organisations that want honest insight, thoughtful challenge and practical recommendations.
